This guide covers getting started, managing your information, card access, family members, maintenance, replacement cards, and other common questions about your Xpress-Guardian Emergency Safety ID.

General Questions

Xpress-Guardian provides an Emergency Safety ID Card that connects to important medical and personal information you choose to provide. Your information is maintained through your secure online account and connected to your Xpress-Guardian ID card.

Xpress-Guardian Emergency Safety ID Card can be used by individuals, families, seniors, caregivers, and anyone who wants important medical or emergency information readily available.

In an emergency, you may not be able to communicate important information yourself. Xpress-Guardian provides a convenient way to make selected medical and personal information available to those who may need it.

A traditional medical ID generally provides only limited information. Xpress-Guardian connects your physical ID card with information maintained through your online account, allowing you to maintain more detailed information and update it as your needs change.

Yes. Each covered person can have their own Xpress-Guardian information associated with their card.

Where the account structure permits, family members can be managed as part of your Xpress-Guardian enrollment. Each person’s information remains associated with their individual ID.

Maintenance & Replacement

Yes. Your first year of maintenance is included with your Xpress-Guardian card purchase.

Maintenance allows you to keep your information current and includes one free replacement Emergency Safety ID per covered person per plan year when a replacement is needed because of lost, stolen, damaged, or changed information.

The maintenance benefit is one free replacement card per covered person per plan year.

After the included replacement has been used, additional replacement cards are available at the applicable replacement-card price.

You can request a replacement card. If you have an active maintenance plan and have not yet used your included replacement for that plan year, the replacement is covered under the maintenance benefit.

No. Maintenance is optional after the included first year.

If you choose not to renew, your physical Emergency Safety ID remains yours, but you will no longer receive the benefits included with an active maintenance plan.

For the current maintenance plans:

  • Primary Cardholder: $14.99/year
  • Additional Family Member: $7.99/year per person
  • Family Maintenance Plan — up to 4 people: $25.99/year

Each covered person receives the applicable maintenance benefits described in the Maintenance Plan.

Your existing physical card remains valid, but maintenance benefits—including the included replacement card—are no longer available. If you later need a replacement, the applicable replacement-card pricing would apply.
